I used Woodward's Gripe Water for my toddler when she was born back in 2008, and it was amazing. Now that I just had my second daughter, I purchased two of these, only to find that they now contain methylparaben and propylparaben (which mimic estrogen in the body), and the glass bottle is now plastic. I'll be making my own at home, rather than subjecting my newborn to toxic chemical preservatives!

My daughter is now almost 5 months old. The first month of her life I tried every product for gas sold at walmart and Walgreens with no help. Finally after much research on gas drops, gripe waters, and other aids; I purchased Woodward's Gripe Water. It was the best thing I did for my baby. We have a very happy baby. If she has gas or is hungry, she cries, but all other times, she is very happy. This product really is amazing. I have been wanting to video it so you can witness for yourself. When the baby cries because of gas, I give her the recommended dose for her age and sit her up and pat her back. Within five minutes (usually less than 2) she either releases a ton of gas or burps a lot or both. After it is passed she is happy go lucky again and if it is nighttime goes right to sleep. Truely amazing to see. Worth every penny. I wish I had known about this when my other child was a baby. And anytime it doesn't work, then the baby wasn't crying about gas pains. Honestly this product is worth a try. I have wasted so much money on expensive name brands that didn't give my child any relief. Why would I buy anything else when this truely helps my baby feel better. I will also be buying this for upcoming baby showers. I will work on getting a video of her taking the medicine. Everyone who witnesses it is amazed.

This is not all natural. It has sodium benzoate, which has been linked to ADHD. I regret already trying this on my daughter.

I've 3 monthes twins for whom I bought the gripe water. One of the twin is "Colic" and hardly sleeps at night. I had tried few medicines that doctor gave me but, it didn't help. However, gripe water worked best on him. So far he has used 4 bottles of it and his colicing problem is almost resolve. He sleeps good at night and so do I. I also use it on my other twin as needed and it has worked good on him, too. My mom told me that it was used on me when I was an infant and it's just like a home remady (made from natural things). I had order 5 bottles of gripe water from this vender. It arrived in only 3 days. I am very happy with the product and if your child is suffering from colicing or has a gas problem then I would definitely suggest to try it.
